Keto Instant Pot Short Ribs Recipe

Keto Instant Pot Short Ribs are easy to make with only a handful of ingredients. Quicker than traditional braised short ribs, these Keto Instant Pot Short Ribs are great for dinner tonight or weekly meal prep.



  1. Season short ribs on all sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Turn Instant Pot on to sauté setting. Add tallow and allow to melt. Sear short ribs in small batches, turning to brown all sides. Once all the meat is browned, return to the pot. 
  3. Add red wine, garlic, and a bit more salt and pepper to the pot. 
  4. Place on lid and set valve to sealing. Cook on high pressure for 50 minutes. Once cooking is finished, allow Instant Pot to depressurize naturally. Remove ribs from pot and serve hot with roasted cauliflower or broccoli for a complete meal. Or save ribs for meal prep for the week. 


Ribs can be served immediately or saved for meal prep during the week. 

Recipe can be doubled with the same cook time.
